IMAS General Terms and Conditions

Registration

  1. By registering, the student acknowledges that they owe the full amount of the course.
  2. Registrations are final and binding.
3. Prospective minor students must provide authorization from a legal guardian in order to enroll in the courses.

Payment Terms

  1. Pour les formations continues, l’acompte doit se faire dans les 14 jours suivant la receipt of the registration.. 
  2. Non-payment of the training fee is not considered a cancellation. 
  3. There is no possibility of paying in installments for continuing education courses. 
  4. For continuing and full training programs, payment must be made before the start of the course. Otherwise, there is the possibility to pay in cash on the first day of training with the agreement of IMAS, IMAS will refuse access to the course without payment.
  5. In the event of non-payment, IMAS reserves the right to contact the competent authorities.

6. Regarding the possibility of multiple payments: • For complete training over 9 weekends during 3 or 6 months, you may pay up to a maximum of 3 installments.
For the complete 3-month training, you may pay up to a maximum of 3 installments.
For the complete 1-month training, multiple payment is not possible.

Cancellation of registration

  1. A 14-day right of withdrawal, starting from the receipt of the registration form, is possible if the training does not start within 60 calendar days.
  2. For all cancellations made after the 14-day period, fees will be applied:
    • Up to 60 days before the start of the training – Deposit fee
    • Between 59 days and 31 days before the start of the training – Deposit fee + 50%
    • Between 30 days and the day of the training – Full payment
  1. If you are unable to attend the scheduled training, you have the option to reschedule your training to another course a maximum of 1 time without any fees.
  2. If the cancellation occurs after the start of the training, the full amount is due.

Absence

  1. During the complete training courses, the student is allowed to be absent up to 3 days without justification. Beyond that, the student will not be allowed to take the exam without having made up for the missed days.
  2. During the continuing education courses, no absence is accepted without justification.
  3. All absences must be reported as soon as possible by phone to the secretariat or to the referring teacher, or by email to info@imaswiss.com

4 If the student does not attend the training without informing IMAS, the full training fee is due.

The form of instruction

The training is validated by a final exam and meets the necessary validation criteria for the RME. The program consists of a total of 150 hours of in-person classes as well as 100 hours of supervised massage practice.

Exam

The training must be fully paid in order to take the final exam and receive the certificate.

Exclusion

The management of IMAS reserves the right to exclude one or more participants for just cause (poor cohesion, violence, damage, etc.). A refund will be made on a pro-rata basis for the portion of the training completed.

Courses

  1. The course dates, prices, locations, and instructors are subject to change.
  2. For each training course, there is a minimum and maximum number of students. Places are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
  3. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the course will not take place. The student will have the choice to attend the next training session or to be refunded.
  4. No reservation of a place is made without receiving the duly completed registration form.

Discount

Students enrolled in one of our full training courses (classic massage) benefit from a 15% discount on our continuing education courses in "Manual Therapy."

Insurance

  1. IMAS declines all responsibility for any damages you may suffer.
  2. The use of the facilities provided by IMAS is done under your own responsibility.

3. IMAS is not responsible for thefts or losses.

Effective date

These General Conditions come into effect on January 1, 2023. They replace and cancel all previous versions. The General Conditions apply to all students registered with IMAS.
