Postural analysis is an assessment of a person's posture to identify bodily imbalances that may cause pain or affect performance.
It may include examining the spine, feet, jaw, and eyes, both at rest and in motion (walking or running). The goal is to detect problems at their source in order to implement appropriate treatment or prevention measures.

Objectives of postural analysis

  • Identify imbalances: Detect asymmetries or deviations that may cause problems.
  • Preventing pain: Anticipate the onset of chronic pain by correcting imbalances before they become pathological.
  • Improve performance: Optimize stability, support, and movement efficiency, whether for sports or everyday life.
  • Treating the causes: Understanding the origin of a disorder in order to offer a fundamental treatment rather than simply managing the symptoms.Treating the causes: Understanding the origin of a disorder in order to offer a fundamental treatment rather than simply managing the symptoms.

How it works

  • Complete examination: The analysis takes into account the entire body, including the feet (alignment, arches), spine (curvatures, deformities), jaw, eyes, and movement (walking, running).
  • Static and dynamic analysis: This assesses posture at rest (static) and during movement (dynamic) to detect impairments that manifest differently depending on the activity.
  • Specialized tools: State-of-the-art tools can be used, particularly for foot pressure analysis, video recording, and cycling power assessment.
  • Multidisciplinary approach: The assessment can be supplemented by consultation between several healthcare professionals for a more comprehensive approach.

Who is it for?

  • Anyone: To prevent future problems or improve overall well-being.
  • Athletes: To optimize performance and avoid injuries caused by poor posture on the bike or while running.
  • Children: To detect and correct joint deformities (such as scoliosis or flat feet) as early as possible.
